During our school day, we encourage each child to have the opportunity to develop their skills by participating in daily activities that challenge them in ways that are developmentally appropriate, teach them lifelong communication and conflict-resolutions skills.

We create an atmosphere of trust, provide opportunities of discovery through the power of play, develop social skills, encourage creative and critical thinking and provide a classroom environment where it is safe for each child to make individual choices.

We have three quarters of an acre of fenced in open space which allows each child to explore nature. We plant vegetables and fruits and we pick what we plant. We run, climb rocks, climb hills, ride bikes, slide down large slides and have water play and access to water almost everyday. It is a place where critical thinking and making decisions are encouraged!
Our goal is to provide a preschool experience that prepares children for future success, in school and in life, allowing them to solve problems in a safe and loving environment where they are able to practice how to get along with others and be competent and responsible individuals.
In addition to our rich base of self exploration and our hands on approach, the curriculum is emergent, which means that the teachers have the flexibility to allow children to direct and more deeply explore the topics that are presented at school and any ideas that the child might bring to school from home or appropriate outside sources.
